OEM PROCESS
Our two OEM processes
We support premium apparel brands through structured development, clear approval points, and controlled production for wool knitwear, double-faced wool coats, down and padded outerwear, and tailored blazers.
Process 01: cut & sew
Cut & sew: woven and cut-knit garments
Woven and cut-knit styles built from fabric: pattern making, cutting, sewing, pressing and finishing.
Inquiry & tech pack review
We review your tech pack, design direction, quantity, fabric preference, target cost and delivery needs, then return an estimated price.
Material sourcing and development
We source and evaluate fabric options, trims, and material availability based on your design direction and target cost, verifying that fabrics meet your performance requirements and quality standards.
Sampling
Our sample room develops patterns and samples for fit, proportion, workmanship, and material review.
Cost Review
After sampling, we review the actual fabric quality, real fabric consumption, and construction complexity, then quote a precise price covering updated material, labour, and development costs before production.
Sample Approval & Wear Test
After the final sample is delivered, we document the sample specifications and keep a sealed reference sample on file. We recommend wear-testing the garment in real use, then confirm fabric, trims, and fit with you before the bulk PO.
Bulk PO & Pre-Production
Once the sample and price are approved, we confirm the bulk PO, quantity and payment terms, then lock specifications before production begins.
Material Preparation
Bulk fabrics and trims are checked and prepared before cutting.
Bulk Production
Cutting, sewing, finishing, and pressing follow the approved sample and production standard.
Quality Control & Packing
Finished garments are checked for measurements, appearance, workmanship, fabric condition, labels, finishing, and packing. Testing and compliance requirements are confirmed for each order.
Shipping & Ongoing Support
We coordinate shipment, respond quickly to post-shipment issues, and keep technical files and production records for repeat orders and future revisions.
Process 02: fully fashioned
Fully fashioned: knitwear shaped on the machine
Panels are knitted to shape, so the garment is shaped by stitch instead of by cutting: less waste, cleaner seams, better recovery.
Yarn & gauge definition
Blend, count, gauge and target weight are fixed first, with yarn consumption and knitting time estimated up front.
Colour development
Shade is matched on knitted swatches, so colour, stitch definition and handfeel are approved together.
Programming & stitch trials
Stitch density and loop length are set on trial panels, then corrected after relaxation.
Sampling
Panels are knitted to shape, linked, washed and pressed, so fit, drape and surface are judged on a finished garment.
Wash trial & shrinkage
Wash, milling and drying formulas are fixed and the shrinkage measured, so the programme and size set are corrected before bulk.
Cost review
Re-costed on yarn per piece, knitting minutes, linking, finishing and washing yield, then locked before bulk.
Approval & reference sample
The approved sample is measured, weighed, documented and sealed as the bulk reference; wear and pilling checks are advised.
Bulk yarn & knitting
Yarn is wound, waxed and conditioned by dye lot; panels are knitted to shape and checked piece by piece.
Linking, washing & blocking
Panels are relaxed, linked on matched gauge, washed to the approved formula, then steam-pressed to measurement.
QC, packing & repeat support
Checked on measurement, weight, shade continuity, pilling and seam strength; knitting programmes are archived for repeat orders.
