How We Work with OEM Brands: Process, Business Terms & Ongoing Support

LGF Apparel (Guangzhou Legendfeng Apparel Co., Ltd.) is a Guangzhou-based apparel development and OEM/ODM manufacturer. Founded in 2024, our core wool and knitwear team brings over 20 years of combined manufacturing experience. We support full-package development and production, including:

• We work primarily as an OEM manufacturer, producing to designs owned by our clients
• We also support ODM development for a selected number of styles, using our own development base and existing blocks
• The styles published on our website show our manufacturing capability. They are not a wholesale catalogue and are not offered for resale under our brand
• Share the styles you plan to develop and we will confirm whether we have produced comparable constructions before
• We share development references once we understand the project and confirm it is an original design

Depending on the product, development runs through one of two routes. We confirm which route applies to your styles at quotation stage.

Cut and sew

Woven and cut-knit garments built from fabric: pattern making, cutting, sewing, pressing and finishing

Fully fashioned

Knitwear shaped on the machine: panels are knitted to shape, so there is less waste, cleaner seams and better recovery

• Cut and sew pricing is driven by fabric consumption, construction complexity and trims
• Fully fashioned pricing is driven by yarn per piece, knitting minutes, linking, washing yield and gauge
• For knitwear, yarn count, gauge and colour are fixed before sampling, and shade is approved on knitted swatches rather than on fabric

Our standard MOQ is 100 pcs per style per color, and it can be distributed across sizes. Selected projects — such as silk or readily-available fabrics — may qualify for a lower minimum.

• MOQ depends on the category, the fabric or yarn, the trims, and any dyeing, printing or washing requirement

• When the bulk order reaches 100 pcs per style, USD 35–45 per style for pattern fee can be credited against the bulk order. Custom dyeing and other development fees (if applicable) are quoted separately.
• If your first order is below 100 pcs per style/color we may not be the most cost-effective partner, and we will say so before development starts

• Indicative monthly capacity is 16,000 to 20,000 pcs, varying by category, construction and order requirements
• Production slots are reserved with the deposit, not with the inquiry
• Peak outerwear season runs roughly from March to August for winter delivery, so we recommend confirming the PO early to secure capacity
• We plan capacity by programme when a seasonal plan is shared with us in advance

• The digital pattern fee and any development fee are charged at the time of development, not only when a style does not go to bulk
• The pattern fee is credited against the bulk order once it reaches 100 pcs per style, and is not refunded below that. Custom dyeing and other development fees are quoted separately.
• Sample cost depends on fabric or yarn, consumption, gauge, construction complexity, workmanship and trims
• We quote an estimated sample price first and confirm the precise price once the sample is made and actual consumption is known
• Patterns developed for your project are not sold, licensed or bought out before the bulk order reaches the agreed MOQ (100 pcs per style).
• Legendfeng keeps its existing base patterns, blocks, grading libraries and know-how. Where production requires it — for example, positioning a digital print or embroidery — we share the placement information or pattern outline for your orders only. This is not a sale, licence or buy-out.

• Bulk price is normally quoted at 100–199 pcs per style/color, from fabric or yarn cost, knitting time and gauge where applicable, construction complexity, trims and finishes, quantity, and labels or packing
• Fabric or yarn is included in the unit price unless you supply your own material
• Custom labels, buttons, zips, hardware, embroidery and branded packing are quoted separately, as they depend on design, material and quantity
• We provide a clear line-item breakdown, and where possible indicative pricing at 50–99, 100–199, 200–299 and 300+ pcs per style/color
• Formal quotations are valid for 3 months from the date of issue, subject to exchange rate movements and raw material price changes

• Timelines are estimates. They vary with material availability, yarn dye-lot booking, trims, printing, embroidery, washing, order quantity and feedback speed. Shipping time depends on destination and method
• Chinese public holidays affect production planning. The two breaks that matter for delivery are Chinese New Year (January/February, around 2–3 weeks) and National Day (1–7 October). We flag any impact on your timeline before you confirm the order.

• Revisions from design direction changes after sample approval are quoted separately
• Revisions from our error are corrected free of charge, meaning we did not follow the approved design pack, measurements, construction specification or agreed details
• We keep a reference sample from every round and attach written revision notes to it
• For knitwear we recommend approving stitch, gauge and handfeel on trial panels before the full garment is knitted
• The quality approved at sample stage sets the standard for bulk production

• Compliance requirements vary by buyer and destination market, so testing, labelling, documentation and inspection are confirmed at inquiry stage
• We can coordinate independent testing through qualified providers such as SGS, Intertek or Bureau Veritas: fibre composition, colour fastness, shrinkage, pilling, fill power and restricted substances
• Business licence and company registration documents are available, and material certificates are provided where the mill or supplier holds them
• Tell us at inquiry stage if your programme needs a specific audit, certification or standard, so it can be built into the plan and the quotation

• We source to your specification, or from a design brief that describes the intended look, drape, weight, handfeel and performance
• We work regularly with double-faced wool, wool and cashmere blends, worsted and fancy tweed, merino and easy-care wool yarns, cotton, denim, down and synthetic insulation, linings and functional trims
• For knitwear we confirm yarn count, gauge, stitch structure and dye-lot minimum before sampling. Custom dyeing is possible, with MOQ and lead time confirmed by the mill or spinner
• We can build a physical material library with you over time, including swatches, mill shade cards and new developments

• Quotation basis: EXW, FOB Guangzhou, or CIF and DDP on request
• For new partnerships we recommend FOB, as it gives you control over freight and customs clearance
• We arrange sea freight (FCL and LCL), air freight and express courier (DHL, FedEx, UPS)
• We provide export documentation, including commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin where required
• We can work with your nominated freight forwarder, or coordinate with ours
• Samples ship internationally and sample shipping cost is normally covered by the client
• We can use your courier account if you have one

• We respect your confidentiality and IP requirements, and an NDA is available on request before you share confidential specifications
• We are happy to review your own NDA as well
• Your designs, tech packs, drawings, artwork, patterns, specifications and other proprietary information stay confidential and are not shared, reproduced or used for another client without written permission
• Custom patterns developed for your designs belong to you once your bulk order reaches 100 pcs per style. Before that, they are not sold, licensed or bought out. Digital files, base-size patterns and graded size sets are supplied after that
• We can work from your digital production patterns and coordinate directly with your patternmaker on fit corrections and grading

• We coordinate with SGS, Intertek, Bureau Veritas or your nominated inspection company
• Inspection cost is normally covered by the buyer
• If you prefer to manage QC internally, we provide regular photo and video updates instead
• A shipment sample before delivery is workable
